An original Christmas tree

For this Christmas version of the famous baby Groot, Funko logically decided to make him a Christmas tree. He is represented in a green pot surrounded by a big red bow. We find his body still incomplete with just his trunk and his two arms stretched on the sides as well as his little smiling head. He is surrounded by a multicolored light garland that wraps around his arms before going up on top of his head and mixing with the pretty little green shoots that are still growing on top of his head.

An adorable little tree

Groot is a character from the Marvel universe first discovered in the Guardians of the Galaxy movies from Marvel Studios. He is a kind of anthropomorphic and intelligent tree coming from an unknown alien planet and who is, with his partner, the intelligent raccoon Rocket Raccoon, a very efficient bounty hunter. At the end of the first movie, Groot sacrifices himself for his friends but Rocket picks up some remaining shoots and grows a new Groot. This little Groot that we discover at the end of the movie in a young flowerpot was an incredible success with the public, especially with his adorable way of dancing on a famous Jackson five song. This explains why Funko chose him to be part of its line of Marvel Christmas figures.
