Hulkbuster (Avengers Infinity War)

A big size

For this new version of the Hulkbuster, Funko has of course represented him in a 15 cm supersized version. We can see the red and gold colors typical of Tony Stark’s creations but with a much more massive look than his own Iron Man armor. The details of the different parts are very nicely reproduced and at the head level, we find of course the red and gold helmet with the white eyes that allow the occupant of the armor to see through.

Abnormal use

The Hulkbuster is the huge, improved and reinforced armor created specifically by Tony Stark in case Bruce Banner could no longer control his Hulk alter-ego and needed to be able to subdue him, this armor being about the same size as the latter when he is transformed. In Avengers Infinity War, the Avengers have to fight Thanos, who is determined to gather the six Infinity Stones and wipe out half of the world’s inhabitants, and the presence of the Hulk’s strength would be very useful. Unfortunately, after spending several years stuck as the Hulk and finally transforming back into Bruce Banner, it seems that he can no longer transform. So Tony Stark gives him the armor that is supposed to control him so that he can participate in the fight with the others.
