John Hammond (Jurassic Park)

A nice grandfather

As in the movie, John Hammond has a nice grandfatherly look with a colonialist side to his clothes. He wears white pants with a matching shirt and shoes and walks with a cane that appears to be made of ivory. On the head, he has a big white beard and wears a straw hat and big brown-rimmed glasses.

The instigator of the phenomenon

John Hammond is the rich founder of the Hammond Foundation, of InGen, the company that discovered how to clone dinosaurs from insect fossils, and later of Jurassic Park in the movie and book of the same name. Concerned little about the technical details and risks involved, John Hammond is mostly interested in making money with his revolutionary park, which he also sees as a kind of legacy for his grandchildren.
