A warrior warrior

Khal Drogo is shown here in this scene where he decides to bring Daenerys to power and stands before his army with a knife held in each hand. He is wearing gray pants with a wide brown leather belt protecting his belly but his arms and upper torso are bare. At the head, we find his black hair tied in a long braid, and his black beard.

A barbarian in love

Khal Drogo is an important character in the first season of the Game Of Thrones series. He is a very violent warrior leader of the nomadic Dothraki people. Daenerys Targaryen, one of the last living of the Targaryen family, is given to him in marriage by her brother against money and an army to reconquer Westeros. But the barbarian leader will fall in love with Daenerys and see that she has much more potential to become than her brother. After his brother disrespects him again, Drogo kills Daenerys’ brother and decides to make his army available to her. But towards the end of the season, he is wounded in battle, the wound becomes infected and he dies. Daenerys joins him on his funeral pyre with her dragon eggs. She emerges intact and her dragons have hatched. This is the beginning of Daenerys’ long journey back to Westeros.
