Always a thorn in his brother’s side
Loki is one of the characters of the movie Thor Ragnarok, the third episode of the series of movies about the superhero inspired by the Norse god of the same name and adapted from the Marvel comics of the same name. Thor is the crown prince of the planet Asgard and when Odin falls ill during the first movie, he learns that his brother Loki is in fact adopted and is the child of one of the ice giants that Odin had fought in the past. Angry at learning this himself, Loki will try to kill Odin and take power, but Thor will be there to stop him and Loki will end up in prison. In the second movie, when the dark elves attack, Thor will ask his brother for help. This one will provide him and he will even sacrifice himself for him. In any case, this is what Thor will believe because Loki has faked his death and will try again to take Odin’s seat. At the beginning of Thor Ragnarok, Asgard has been attacked by Hela, goddess of hell who has in mind to provoke Ragnarok. We don’t know yet the precise role of Loki in this story but in the comics, they are closely linked since she is his daughter.
