March Hare (Alice Au Pays Des Merveilles)

An elegant hare

The Mars hare is depicted here anthropomorphically wearing an elegant suit in shades of red and brown. The jacket is orange with a beige bow tie and he has a large white collar. On the head, he has two large ears bending a little in two and a tuft of blond hair on top. Finally, he is holding a pink tea cup from which the tea is escaping.

The March Hare

The March Hare is a character that Alice meets during her strange journey to Wonderland in the cartoon of the same name inspired by the book by Lewis Carrol. The latter is celebrating his unbirthday with his friend the Mad Hatter when Alice arrives in their garden to ask them for help to find her way back. They invite her to celebrate with them. Like his friend the Mad Hatter, the March Hare is also a little crazy, dipping his saucer into his cup of tea and cutting the cup in half instead of the cake. They explain to Alice that they prefer to celebrate their non-birthdays since they have 364 of them a year. Of course, neither of them is much help in helping Alice find her way back.
