Mera (Aquaman)

A Queen’s Look

Funko has depicted Mera in the skin-tight jumpsuit she wears for much of the film. This one is a dark turquoise with an all-over pattern of scales and honeycombs. There are also golden patterns on her sleeves and torso that are reminiscent of the Aquaman costume. On the head, we find her beautiful long red hair and the beautiful golden crown that reminds us that she is a princess.

A mighty queen

Mera is an important character in Aquaman, the DC Studios movie finally telling the origins of the mysterious Aquaman discovered in Batman VS Superman and then in Justice League. Mera is the princess of Xebel, one of the kingdoms of Atlantis, and engaged to Orm, the king of one of the other kingdoms. But when the kingdoms decide to attack the surfers, Mera goes to Arthur Curry and urges him to fight to take his rightful place on the throne of Atlantis to prevent this attack. Together they travel the world to find Atlan’s trident and Mera gets her first taste of what life is like on the surface of the Earth.
