A young career
Nick Kyrgios is an Australian professional tennis player born in Canberra in 1995. His father is Greek and his mother is Malay. As a child and an adult he was very good at basketball, but it was tennis that he turned to. He won the Australian Junior Open in 2003 and it is after that that he made his first steps in the professional circuit. He won the Hopman Cup in 2016 and finished in the quarterfinals of Wimbledon in 2014 and the Australian Open in 2015.
