Petyr Baelish (Game Of Thrones)

The Mockingbird

Petyr Baelish is a rich man who owns many clothes. However, his style is very precise and his outfits are all very similar to each other. As you can see on this figurine, he always wears very long tunics with a mao collar reaching almost to his ankles. The materials used are always luxurious, especially silk or velvet and his favorite colors are red and brown, which he almost never changes. He always wears a pendant or a brooch in the shape of a mockingbird, his personal symbol. Here we can guess it around his neck although the detail is not fine enough to really recognize it. What is perhaps most recognizable about this character is his short hair, always perfectly coiffed, and especially his moustache and goatee, which are so particular. Finally we notice that he wears a purse on his belt, probably to symbolize his function at court.

A dangerous and important character despite his appearance

Petyr Littlefinger” Baelish is one of the main characters of the novels “A Song Of Ice And Fire” and the series “Game Of Thrones”. Although he is not as present as some of the main characters and no chapter in the book is dedicated to him, Littlefinger has a crucial role in the story, as we will see as the books and seasons progress. Petyr was raised at Riverrun with Catelyn Tully/Stark, with whom he has always been in love, and his sister. Although he is not from the high nobility, he has managed, through clever political games, to become master of the kingdom’s treasury and accounts. He also has an army of spies at his service who help him manipulate the members of the court for his own benefit. In the last episodes of season 4, we will learn that he not only participated in the assassination of Joffrey Baratheon but also in that of Jon Arryn. He would thus be largely at the origin of the events that triggered the war that is currently raging in the kingdom of Westeros.
