Rick O’Connell (The Mummy)

A classic hero

Rick O’Connell is one of the heroes of the cult fantasy adventure film The Mummy, a remake of the famous Universal Studios film from the 1930s. As a soldier, he found himself defending the city of Hamunaptra from the Medjai and witnessing paranormal phenomena. Years later, in 1926, the librarian Evelyn Carnahan and her brother asked him to lead them there. He accepts if they manage to release him from prison. Arrived at the city, they begin to explore at the same time as a group of Americans. In spite of the warnings of the medja?, Evelyn reads the book of the dead and awakes the mummy of Imhotep who had been condemned to the worst punishment for having loved the mistress of the pharaoh and to have killed this last. Killing to regain his strength, the mummy is ready to do anything to bring back his beloved. Rick, Evelyn and his brother will have to do everything to stop him and escape the mummy.
