A pointless act

For this new exclusive version of Thanos, Funko represented him with during this famous scene at the beginning of Endgame when he is on his knees and one of the Avengers has just cut his arm. He still wears his vet pants and the brown boots with gold trim from his battle armor, but he now wears only a simple gray t-shirt on top. On the head, we can see his purple skin and the funny shapes on his face, especially on his chin. We can also see that the whole left part of his face is damaged by having destroyed the stones. Finally, his cut left arm is detachable and we can see that the golden gauntlet has been damaged where he tore the stones.

One last attempt

Thanos is the big bad of the two Avengers movies concluding phase 3 of the Marvel cinematic universe. In Avengers Infinity War, he finally put into practice his plan to save the galaxy” by killing half of it. He had started by invading these planets and killing half the population at random but his ultimate goal was to gather the six infinity stones that would allow him to wipe out half the galaxy with the snap of a finger. After many battles ending on Earth in Wakanda, he finally achieved his goal, wiping out half the population, including half of the Avengers. At the beginning of Avengers Endgame, Carol Denvers, also known as Captain Marvel, rescues Tony Stark and Nebula and returns them to Earth. With her power and Nebula’s knowledge of Thanos, this gives the Avengers one last chance to try and save the people. They travel to Thanos’ home planet where he has taken refuge and, weakened, he is quickly overpowered and one of the Avengers cuts off his gauntlet arm. Unfortunately, he had already destroyed the stones and it was too late to do anything about it. Fortunately, five years later, an event will bring hope again.
