Thanos from the past
Thanos is the ultimate villain of Avengers Infinity War and Endgame but also of all these first ten years of MCU since we could see him coming from the first Guardians of the Galaxy movie. Thanos is a titan, one of the strongest and most powerful species in the galaxy and his plan for years has been to save the galaxy by eradicating half of its population so that there would be enough resources for everyone. He was already doing this by traveling from planet to planet and killing people himself, but his ultimate goal was to collect the six infinity stones on a glove that would allow him to wipe out half of the galaxy’s population with a simple snap of his finger, a move he found much less cruel. At the end of Infinity War, he succeeded. The remaining Avengers try to attack him one last time to get the stones back but he has already destroyed them and Thor kills him in a rage. Five years later, the Avengers come up with a plan to go back in time and get the stones before Thanos can get his hands on them. But then they cross paths with Thanos from the past who, due to an interference between the two versions of Nebula, learns of their plan and finds them in the present in order to try to recover the already fully reconstructed gauntlet again.
