The greatest villain
Thanos is one of the most powerful villains in the Marvel universe. He is one of the only ones to have required the reunion of most of the Marvel superheroes in the comics (all the Avengers as well as the X-Men and many others) and all the Avengers plus the Guardians of the Galaxy in the cinematic universe. He is also the final villain of phase 3 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Thanos is a titan that we first discovered in the Guardians of the Galaxy because he was the adoptive father” of Gamora who will become one of the members of the Guardians of the Galaxy. He will then be seen in the films Avengers Infinity War and Endgame. After his people became extinct due to overpopulation and lack of resources, Thanos had only one idea in mind, to save the galaxy by making half of it disappear. He began to do this by going from planet to planet and arbitrarily decimating half the people of each. But his ultimate goal was always to gather the six infinity stones and place them on his gauntlet. This would give him almost infinite powers and would allow him to simply make half the galaxy disappear with a snap of his finger.
