Venomized Groot (Venom)

A terrifying tree

In the venomized version, Groot is rather terrifying with his wooden textured body, usually brown, here black and dark blue. His face, usually serene, is black and his mouth opens on large pointed teeth and a long pink tongue. Finally, he has a kind of collar of large leaves bristling with teeth and reminding a bit of a carnivorous plant.

A strange mix

Venom is a character of the Marvel universe appearing for the first time in the Spiderman comics as an antagonist before having his own adventures. He is a parasitic alien entity that can only live by taking over other creatures. It usually does this while they are sleeping and they don’t remember anything except that they are more tired than usual. Venom of course tends to choose powerful characters to take advantage of their abilities as well. In one of his adventures, he took possession of Groot, the famous humanoid tree of the Guardians of the Galaxy. In spite of his quiet appearance, Groot is very powerful since he can extend his branches almost to infinity and seems to have certain magical powers linked to nature.
