Ron in flight

Like the figure of Harry released exclusively for SDCC 2017, Funko is releasing a figure of Ron in quidditch outfit and depicted in flight on his broom. He stands on a transparent base to really give the impression of flight. We can see his quidditch outfit in the colors of Gryffindor but being a guardian, it is particularly reinforced with a brown leather frame to better withstand the blows. He has thick kneepads, leggings, wrist protectors as well as a pectoral and shoulder protectors almost like an American soccer player. At the head level, we can see his red hair sticking out of his brown helmet as well as his eyebrows giving him a worried look.

A figure to match the character

Hagrid being half giant, he is particularly tall, probably measuring around 2.50m. Logically, Funko made a super sized pop” measuring around 15 cm instead of the usual 10! If his look doesn’t change much in eight movies with a few exceptions, one element allows us to recognize the Hagrid of the first movie. Indeed, when he comes to get Harry to bring him to Hogwarts, he hides his wand in the form of a pink umbrella. This element is very present on this figure and accentuates the contrast between his appearance and his personality. Hagrid always wears clothes in different shades of brown, made of coarse fabric or leather. He wears brown pants and boots and a reddish-brown tunic with a buttoned jacket and a big belt. Over all that, he wears a long light brown coat. His face is a classic pop figure face, but Funko didn’t forget to represent his thick, curly, unruly hair and his big brown beard. Hagrid’s figure will make an adorable duo with Harry Potter’s!

A figure that fits his image

Given his passion for explosions, Seamus has been depicted here just after an explosion. He is wearing his traditional Hogwarts uniform: gray pants and a matching sweater with Gryffindor colors on the edges. He is wearing black shoes and a long black wizard’s robe. In his right hand, he holds his wizard’s wand. Finally, at the level of the head, his face, as well as some parts of his clothes, is partly covered with soot as it is often the case in books and movies. In addition, his brown hair has been blown back into spikes by the wind from the explosion.

Harry in his early years at Hogwarts

Like all the other characters, except for Voldemort, Harry is portrayed as he is in the first film of the saga, that is, as an 11-year-old boy. In the first two films, except for a few scenes at the beginning and at the end, the children are only seen in their Hogwarts uniforms, so it is logical that they are represented in this way. So we find the classic uniform of an English schoolboy with black pants and shoes, and a gray sweater under which we can guess a white shirt and a tie. Funko did not forget the long wizard’s robe that he wears over it and differentiates him from a classic English schoolboy. On this robe, there is a patch with the colors of the house” in which he was placed at his arrival at Hogwarts: Gryffindor. His colors are also present on his sweater and tie. Finally, his face is perfectly recognizable thanks to his haircut but especially thanks to his famous round glasses and the lightning scar left on his forehead by Voldemort. Since we were waiting for the pop! of the Harry Potter saga, we can say that Funko did not disappoint us!
