Captain America (Captain America TWS)

A darker Captain America

On this figure, it is the Captain America The Winter Soldier” version of the character that is represented. Although his costume is still in the American flag theme, it evolves significantly between the movies, and the figure respects these differences. In the first movie, the costume is in a dominant blue with a few touches of red, a white star on the chest and an A on his helmet. In Avengers, the costume hardly evolves, but in Captain America TWS, the blue becomes much darker and less bright, almost black. This makes it more modern but this change is also symbolic of the character’s loss of faith and trust in SHIELD and its government. The white stripes on the torso as well as the brown straps and the lack of red on the costume are well represented. If there is one element that does not change in his outfit is his famous shield. On the other hand, it seems that Funko has made Steve Rogers a left-handed person since he wears his shield on his right arm while in the movies he wears it on his left arm.
