Personal Style

Daenerys is shown here in the outfit she wears during her famous slave freeing scene. This figure is already the third version of the character. This is probably due to the fact that she is one of the most popular characters in the series, but also because her style has changed the most over the seasons. After adopting the style of the Dothraki and then that of Qarth, Daenerys seems to have finally found a style of her own. This one is a mix of the practical” style of the Dothraki and a style closer to her kingdom of origin, Westeros. We find her pretty blue tunic with a cross neckline and without sleeves adapted to the hot climate of these lands. Keeping the warrior side of the Dothraki, she wears with that a pair of pants and leather boots. Funko has also nicely reproduced the cloak that matches her tunic, even depicting its beige lining. In her hand, Daenerys carries the whip given by the slavers, meaning that she is now their mistress. Finally, once again, her partially braided blonde/white hair has been finely reproduced by Funko. Like most of the Game Of Thrones license figures, this one is a success to add to your collection.

The chain breaker

Daenerys Targaryen is one of the main characters of the series Game Of Thrones” and the novels “A Song Of Ice And Fire” from which the series is inspired. She is the last heir of the Targaryen royal line, her father King Aerys, as well as his entire family, having been decimated when the Baratheon and Lannister families took power in Westeros. At the beginning of the series, she is in exile with her brother Viserys, across the sea. In the hope of regaining his throne, he gives his sister in marriage to the Dothraki warrior Khal Drogo in exchange for his army. But things do not go as planned as the arrogant Viserys is killed by Drogo. Unfortunately, soon after, Drogo, who Daenerys had finally fallen in love with, also dies. She finds herself wandering in the desert with those of her tribe who are willing to follow her. But this time she has with the three hatched dragons eggs, supposedly decorative, which had been offered to her at her wedding. At this moment, she has only one goal, to gather an army and reconquer the throne. After a passage by the city of Qarth, which allowed her to acquire a boat, Daenerys finds herself in the city of Astapor. In exchange for one of her dragons, she is offered to buy the “Unsullied”, over-trained slave soldiers and against all odds, she accepts. But Daenerys has a completely different plan in mind, as she unleashes her dragons on the slavers, frees the slaves and asks them to join her cause as free men, providing one of the most memorable scenes in the series.
