Devil Betty Boop (Betty Boop)

Diabolic Betty

Betty Boop has remained popular through the decades and still today, we find the character in many forms, posters, figurines and others. Funko decided to represent her as an imp to go with her angel version. She wears the usual red sleeveless dress with the little heart on her garter. She wears matching shoes but this time she also has a long forked tail and small horns on top of her head. Her face is not different from usual and her black hair just as curly but she also holds in her hand a red imp’s pitchfork.

A sexy heroine

Betty Boop is one of the most popular characters in American animation. She was created in the early 1930s and her stories were told for almost a decade by Fleischer Studios before being discontinued. Most of the Betty Boop stories were not sequential but often had in common that they put the young woman in seductive situations where she is a dancer or a singer but we also see her as Snow White or other fairy tale characters. But with the puritanical laws that appear during the decade, Betty is forced to become a single housewife with much wiser clothes and whose stories are also less delirious.
