Drax (Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 2)

Drax has a new gadget

While in the first movie, Drax seemed to prefer to fight with his bare hands, it seems that here he has adopted one of the impressive futuristic guns like Gamora or even Rocket carries. On the body, he still has this grey/pink skin engraved with red tattoos and scarifications on his arms, torso and face. He is still shirtless but wears blue pants and big black boots with nice details. In his hands, he is holding this very impressive grey and green rifle that looks almost like a musical instrument at first sight. Finally, on the face, his eyes are half closed to better match the look of the character and we can see his famous tattooed patterns and his bald head.

A tough guy with a big heart

Drax is one of the members of the brand new team formed around Peter Quill/Star Lord in Guardians of the Galaxy vol. 2, following the first episode of the Marvel Studios film. In the first film, Drax meets the team in prison and their first contact isn’t exactly friendly. Peter Quill, Gamora, Rocket and Groot end up there together as they all wanted to capture or steal from each other and caused chaos in the city. Drax is particularly angry with Gamora because she works for Ronan who killed her family. Eventually they manage to agree to escape together and share the prize of the object in Peter Quill’s possession, but when Ronan gets his hands on it and plans to use it to wipe out a people, the group finally decides to do whatever it takes to save the galaxy. They now create a strange little group continuing in their missions across the galaxy.
