The hypochondriac of service
Eddie Kaspbrak is one of the characters of the film IT, the adaptation of the famous novel of Stephen King taking place in the 80s and putting in scene a group of young teenagers marginal fighting against a terrible monster. At the beginning of the story, the little brother of one of them is attacked by this terrible monster in the guise of Pennywise the clown, and taken to the sewers and his body is never found. A year later, Bill is still looking for his brother and, in turn, he and his friends are confronted by the clown, who shows them images of their worst nightmares. They are soon joined by two other teenagers: a young black boy harassed by older boys and a young girl abused by her stepfather. Eddie lives with his mother, who is a total hypochondriac and has made him completely obsessive about cleanliness and put him on medication he doesn’t need. So when he starts seeing nightmares through the clown, they are people horribly disfigured by the disease who try to catch and touch him to infect him.
