A Funny Bush

For this deluxe version of the character, Funko depicted him with one of the famous bushes that he enjoys trimming all over the city. He is on a base representing the lawn and behind one can see a wooden fence. He has trimmed a bush in the shape of a large t-rex and is standing right in front of it. He is wearing the strappy pants that he was made to wear over the strange black clothes that seem to be part of his body, and a white shirt. His scissor-like hands are held down and the details are very well represented. On the head, we find the dark circles around his eyes and the black on his lips.

Hidden talents

Edward is the hero of the movie Edward Scissorhands by director Tim Burton. Edward was created by his creator in his large hilltop mansion in a small American town. Becoming very attached to his creature, he gave him a heart to make him alive but died before he could give him hands and Edward was left with hands made of scissors. A few years later, a makeup demonstrator came to his house and seeing that he was alone and often hurt himself with his hands, decided to take him with her family. He was quite well accepted at first, but he even became something of a local celebrity when people realized his talents. With his scissors, he could carve trees into all sorts of shapes and he also had a talent for cutting hair. But after he spurned a woman’s advances and slightly injured her by accident, she spread rumors about him and the townspeople turned against him.
