A traditional look

For this E3 2019 exclusive 2-pack, Funko has therefore represented the two enemy brothers with skins depicting them with traditional Japanese outfits and masks. Hanzo wears an almost traditional samurai outfit with red leggings, some sort of enhanced sandals and a chest protector. In his hands, he holds his famous bow, but here in a transparent red color that gives it a magical look. He also wears a typical conical hat and red make-up on his face and arms. Genji wears a traditional Japanese demon mask with a big mouth with sharp teeth, horns and red eyes. He wears a black outfit, but we can clearly see his two mechanical hands. Finally, he holds a sword in his right hand leaving a green trace represented in transparent plastic which once again gives a magical side to his sword.

Enemy brothers

Hanzo and Genji are two brothers turned enemies and two playable characters in the online video game from Blizzard Studios: Overwatch. Both were heirs to a Japanese family crime empire. Genji had little interest in the family business and Hanzo, his future successor, was sent to bring him back into line. But when he failed to do so, there was a fight and Hanzo killed his brother. Riddled with guilt, he left the family empire and decided to travel the world to try to forget his pain. Genji, who wasn’t actually completely dead, was taken in by Overwatch and he was healed by being transformed into a cyborg. But not accepting his new nature, he too set out to travel the world and it was finally the monk Zenyatta who helped him accept that no matter what his body was, his soul was intact.
