A golden tree

On the occasion of the 10-year anniversary of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Funko created a series of figures in golden version and Groot, being particularly popular, is part of it. Funko has therefore represented him in a golden version in his baby Groot form. It’s the beginning of a small tree in a simple pot. His head has that characteristic elongated shape with a little smiling face and shoots on the underside of his head. As in the movie scene, his arms are moving, as if he was dancing.

The most popular tree

Groot is one of the main characters of the saga Guardians of the Galaxy from Marvel Studios. He is initially a very large anthropomorphic tree who works in duo with Rocket, a genetically modified raccoon, and together they are bounty hunters. In the first installment, they meet Star Lord, Drax, and Gamora and together they find themselves saving an entire planet. But during the battle Groot sacrifices himself to save his friends and all that remains of him are twigs. From these twigs, Rocket manages to grow a brand new baby Groot that grows in a pot.
