Irene Adler (Sherlock)

A femme fatale look

Given her activity, Irene Adler cultivates a look that is always sexy but without falling into vulgarity, most often inspired by the pin up style of the 50s. She is represented here with the white dress she wears in one of the first scenes where she appears in the series. We find well its tight form arriving at the knees typical of the fashion of this time. She wears with that a small short jacket and matching pearl earrings. Her shoes are black with high heels and we even find the little detail of the black necklace around her neck. At the head level, her haircut is perfectly rendered and Funko has, for once, decided to give a mouth to the character, her red lipstick being an important element of her look. Finally, she is holding her coat on one arm and in the other hand, she is holding the phone containing the famous compromising information.

The Woman

Irene Adler is a character from the BBC TV series: Sherlock. In this contemporary version of the adventures of the famous detective, Sherlock Holmes is a consulting detective who regularly helps the police and even the secret service to solve particularly difficult investigations. Directly inspired by a character from Arthur Conan Doyle’s novels, Irene Adler appears in the first episode of the second season of the series. If she will not reappear later in the series, she will strongly mark the character of Sherlock, yet rarely disconcerted by anyone. Irene Adler is a luxury prostitute specializing in S&M, who will attract the attention of the government, and therefore of Mycroft Holmes, when she lets them know that she has a number of compromising photos of members of the royal family who are among her clients. Sherlock will then be in charge of contacting her in order to recover the famous photos. But we soon realize that she is in fact involved in a much more important plot.
