An adorable duo

Funko has represented here these two adorable characters in an exclusive version. Rocket is represented standing with his blue and orange suit. We can see his big raccoon paws and his long bushy tail. He holds a futuristic gun in each hand. At the head level, we find the typical patterns of a raccoon on his coat, giving him an angry expression. Baby Groot is standing on his head with a smug smile. We can see his elongated head made of wood and the rest of his body seems to be made of a tangle of branches.

Still together

Rocket and Groot are two of the main characters in the Guardians Of The Galaxy movies. In the first movie, they were two bounty hunters working together, Rocket being a very intelligent genetically modified raccoon and Groot, a very powerful anthropomorphic tree. They cross paths with Star Lord, Gamora and Drax in the first film and together they find themselves saving the galaxy somewhat in spite of themselves. At the end of the movie, Groot sacrifices himself to save his friends but Groot recovers some twigs and grows a new one. In the second opus, Groot is still a baby and if he starts to participate in missions, he tends to stay very close to Rocket. While Star Lord is reunited with his father and goes to his planet with Gamora and Drax, Rocket and Groot will stay behind to repair their ship. Then they will be captured by Yondu, Star Lord’s previous boss” who didn’t appreciate him betraying them.
