Shuri enters the fight

During the movie, T’Challa’s cousin challenges him for the throne and wins but Shuri and other members of the royal family do not accept it and decide to fight him. It is thus with this outfit that Shuri is represented here. We find her traditional outfit very colorful with a purple base, many golden details and a yellow loincloth. On her face, she wears the mask and the ritual makeup and wears her hair in a very elaborate braid on the top of her head. Finally, she holds two gloves created by her and that they allow her to acquire a great strength to counterbalance her lack of physical training.

The genius of the family

Shuri is the little sister of T’Challa, the new king of Wakanda, an imaginary African country in the Marvel universe, in the movie Black Panther. Wakanda is a relatively poor country whose population is mostly made of peasants, but it hides a huge city with extremely developed technology thanks to the vibranium ore very present in their soil. This metal came from space with the fall of a meteorite has remarkable properties and this has allowed technology and society to develop far beyond anything else on Earth. But fearing the covetousness, their city is hidden under a dome that makes them invisible. Shuri, although only 17 years old, is a genius and the country’s chief engineer. It is notably her who develops new technologies for Black Panther’s costume or the gadgets he uses.
