A serious trio

Funko has represented the three important authors at the helm of the series in this NYCC exclusive pack. In the center, we find George Martin with his big beard, his glasses and his usual black cap that never leaves him. We recognize David Benioff with his brown hair and his beard with grey touches and DB Weiss with his short hair, his short goatee and his glasses. Both wear a parka and gloves and we can imagine that they are represented on the shooting of the series with each one a script of different color in the hands.

The men behind the series

The Creators are the three men behind the famous medieval fantasy series Game Of Thrones with an increasingly dark tone. First of all, there is of course George Martin, the man who wrote the novels on which the series is based. George Martin started writing in 1991 and the first volume was published only five years later in 1996. Since then, four more volumes have been published, the last one just at the time of the first season of the series, but while the sixth volume is being written and has been awaited by fans for more than 7 years now, the series has been catching up with the books for the last two seasons and continues to tell the story based on George Martin’s planned outline for the end of the story that he revealed to the series creators. The creators are David Benioff and DB Weiss, who obtained the rights to adapt the series from the author by answering a single question: who is Jon Snow’s mother?
