Tyrion Lannister en armure (Game Of Thrones)

Tyrion the Warrior

On this second figurine, Tyrion is this time represented with the armor he wears during the battle of the Nera against the army of Stannis Baratheon. Along with Daenerys and Jon Snow, Tyrion is one of the readers’ and viewers’ favorite characters, so it’s no surprise that he’s one of the first to get a second figurine. Tyrion is shown wearing his red and gold armor in the Lannister family colors. The Lannisters being a rich family, his armor was custom made despite his small size and we can see many details finely reproduced especially at the level of the pectoral and shoulder pads. To complete his outfit, he wears, as in the series, boots and thick black leather gloves. In the confusion of the battle, Cersei takes the opportunity to send one of her men to kill her brother. Thanks to Podrick, he barely escapes, but he keeps a big scar that crosses his face. In the series, it is much lighter than in the book (where his nose is almost entirely torn off) and on this figurine it is even lighter, but that doesn’t stop it from being very nice. Finally, he holds the double-bladed axe in his hand which he chooses when he goes to fight because it is more adapted to his small size and his way of fighting.

Acting Hand of the King

Tyrion Lannister is one of the main characters of the novels A Song Of Ice And Fire” and the series “Game Of Thrones”. Tyrion is the youngest son of Tywin Lannister, powerful lord of Casterly Rock. Tyrion is a dwarf and his mother died giving birth to him, two reasons that make his father and his sister, Cersei, hate him. His sister is Queen of Westeros and when her husband, King Robert Baratheon, dies in a hunting accident, their son Joffrey becomes king and Cersei regent. Tywin Lannister is appointed “Hand of the King” but being busy fighting Robb Stark, he sends Tyrion to King’s Landing to take over his position temporarily for most of season 2. Tyrion will then do his best to serve the city and its inhabitants. In particular, he will prepare it against the impending attack of Stannis Baratheon. During this mythical battle, Tyrion will even have the opportunity to take up arms and will narrowly escape the assassin sent by his sister Cersei thanks to the help of his squire, the shy but surprising Podrick Payne.
