Tyrion Lannister (Game Of Thrones)

A Lannister despite everything

Tyrion is represented here with his physique from seasons 1 and 2. Indeed at the end of season 2, during the battle of the Nera, he narrowly escaped death and keeps afterwards a large scar that crosses his face. His outfit is most likely inspired by the one he wears in some promotional photos of season 1 but also during the whole period when he is unjustly accused of the attempted murder of Bran Stark and is a prisoner in Lisa Arryn’s castle (sister of Catelyn Stark). These are elegant clothes made of noble materials, here mainly leather, adapted to his rank. He wears gray/black pants and boots and a leather tunic. Over it, he wears a red leather vest with finely reproduced golden patterns, in the colors of the Lannister family. Despite his strained relationship with his father, he will almost always wear clothes in his family colors. However, his hair has been depicted in a light brown, closer to the color he wears in the most recent seasons and further away from the Lannister blond” of the beginning.

Tyrion, the unloved

Tyrion Lannister is one of the main characters of the series Game Of Thrones” (adapted from the novels “A song of ice and fire” by George Martin). Played on screen by Peter Dinklage, he is very often one of the favorite characters of the fans of the novels and the series. He is the youngest son of the very powerful Lannister family. Being a dwarf, he is particularly hated by his father Tywin and his sister. His mother died giving birth to him, which makes them hate him even more. Jaime, with whom he shares a great complicity, is the only member of his family who has always accepted him. The Lannisters became very important when, after the war against the Targaryens, Cersei, Jaime’s twin sister, married Robert Baratheon and thus became queen. Tyrion is very intelligent and cultured, he has a great sense of humor and a taste for prostitutes. He always tries to do what is right for the people and for the people around him, even trying to repair the harm caused by his family members. But despite all his efforts, he will always be treated unfairly, especially because of his appearance and his sister’s shenanigans. Few people will realize his true nature and that is the tragedy of this character.
