Ultron (Avengers Age Of Ultron)

The new generation robot

When Ultron comes to life, he first decides to assemble a robot with what he finds in Tony Stark’s workshop in order to have a physical form. This first form is very rudimentary and will be quickly destroyed by Iron Man, the demigod Thor and the other Avengers gathered at that time at Tony Stark’s house. But he will soon create a new form much more imposing and solid since it was created with the same metal as the shield of the superhero Captain America. This is the version that Funko has chosen. Ultron is mainly made of matte silver metal whose texture has been well reproduced on this figure. His design and the assembly of the different elements that make him up are quite complex, but this has still been reproduced rather well on the figure. Through the metal we can see a red glow corresponding to his energy source but which gives him this evil side. As for the head, Funko has respected the usual proportions of its figures, but we still find these kind of growths on the sides. And of course, this time they gave him red eyes to complete his super villain style!

The creation that goes wrong

Ultron is one of the main characters of the movie Avengers Age Of Ultron” from Marvel Studios. At the beginning of the movie, the Avengers team dismantles the research lab of Nazi scientist Baron Strucker. This allows them to recover Loki’s magic scepter that had disappeared since the events of the first film. The billionaire Tony Stark thinks he can use it to develop an artificial intelligence that would be the ultimate defense of the planet. But his invention turns against him when Ultron takes possession of one of his robots, then spreads all over Earth thanks to the Internet. His original mission was to protect the Earth. Unfortunately, Ultron believes that the only way to do that is to evolve the population, and for that, a mass extinction seems to be the most efficient method. The Avengers will have to find a way to stop him before he can carry out his plans. Although he is a robot, Ultron was created by Tony Stark and we can therefore find in him a certain sense of humor that makes the character quite surprising.
