Victor (Corpse Bride)

A typical Tim Burton character

Funko has represented Victor here with his typical Victorian costume. He wears black and gray striped pants and a gray jacket with tails and a very tight tie that he holds in his hands. At the head level, we find his very pale face with his ringed and white eyes as we see them in the cartoon. His black hair is very voluminous on top of his head. He is also accompanied by Scraps, the dog that died as a child and that Emily gave him. He is a small skeleton of a dog sitting with his tail in the air and a small red collar around his neck.

A misunderstanding

Victor is one of the main characters of the movie Corpse Bride, Tim Burton’s stop motion movie. Set in Victorian England, the film tells the story of Victor, the only son of a nouveau riche family who is promised to the only daughter of a noble family but has lost almost all his money. The two young people do not meet until the day before their wedding, but despite their apprehensions, the two young people like each other. However, Victor is very nervous during the wedding rehearsal and runs off into the forest when he is shouted at by the priest. He then decides to rehearse his speech and passes the ring to what he thinks is a dead branch but is in fact the finger of a dead bride who then considers that she is now married to Victor and takes him to the very happy world of the dead. Divided between his desire to find Victoria, his bride-to-be, and not to hurt Emily, the poor young woman with the tragic story, Victor will have to play finely.
